This joyful exclamation, shouted by a friend in Barcelona back in 2018, left a lasting mark on photographer Reeni—and became the origin of her artistic alias, shit.papi.
Coming from a family of artists, Reeni found her way into photography and has since developed a distinctive visual approach blending analog techniques with trippy digital edits, and pioneering what we now know as “Cut Out” videos.
In addition to her striking photography for clients like MINI x Lovecraft, Adidas, About You x shyxwear, Google Pixel, and Tally Weijl, she also took on the creative direction of the Berlin-based event series unreleased.berlin—a platform created to give emerging music artists the stage they deserve.
